Published by Ward, Lock & Co, London & Melbourne. Contains 48 beautiful coloured plates by Margaret W. Tarrant. Includes a dustjacket in good condition - has 1in missing from top right hand corner of dj. Dust Jacket shows Alice holding hands (paws? Claws) with some fantastical animals. Prince Charming Colour books for Children advert on rear flap of dust jacket. Book is unmarked and in excellent order. London Ward, Lock circa 1915.. Tan cloth, lettered and designed in black. Colour illustrated endpapers. 48 full-page color illustrations by MARGARET TARRANT. Price not cut off but round hole where price would be. Title page calls it Alice's Adventures in Wonderland - different to dust jacket and cover.

Peake, Mervyn. blue cloth with gold writing and illustrations to spine. 65 illustrations Mervyn Peake 130 x190 mm This is an Old "Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass" by Lewis Carroll. Has sixty-five illustrations by Mervyn Peake. 264 pages, Hard cover with Dust-Jacket. Dust-Jacket is torn in a few places and pages have a few age spots along edges but the inside is in good condition. Dust jacket now protected in Bromart mylar clear cover with archival ph7-70 archival tape to rear of any tears. First pulished (This is the misspelling in the book) in 1954 by Allan Wingate (Publishers) Ltd. Printed in Great Britain.
