New York, NY: International Publishers, 1932. 13.5 x 19.6 cm. Alexander Trachtenberg writes the Editor's Foreword, explaining the context in which Lenin wrote these words, in 1917. Lenin warns that a famine is approaching, points to the complete inactivity of the Russian government under Kerensky. He points to the ""bamboozlement"" of the unenlightened, there are measures, and he identifies them: Unification of all banks into one, and nationalisation; Nationalisation of the syndicates (sugar, naptha, coal, etc.); Abolition of commercial secrets; Compulsosry syndication; Compulsory consumers' associations, and control over them.
