This book by renown chef Alfred Portale has been Signed/Inscribed to one of the owners of the famous NYC Italian restaurant Rao's ",Frankie PellegrinoJr. "To Frankie, Best Wishes in the Kitchen! Alfred Potale 2-4-98 (see photos). This book was purchased as part of a small group of books at the estate sale of Frank Pellegrino in Rocjville Centre, NY. I've included a letter from a totally unrelated book obtained at the same sale to provide some minimal provenance for this copy. Many recipes and photos throughout. Clean and unclipped. Portale was considered to be one of the great American chefs.

This book was acquired at an estate sale held at the Rockville Centre home of Mr Pellegrino, who has since passed away. I've attached a copy of a letter from an unrelated book also purchased at the sale to provide entirely circumstantial provenance. Rao's is considered by many to be NY's most exclusive restaurant.
