Introduction (using many pictographs) by BarbaraTallamonts Shoemake. 26 pages, and signed at the bottom of the front endpaper by Sioux B. Pepper, who contributed some of the recipes.

Foot of spine is pushed a little. The jacket has a few small tears and chips at edges and some light soiling, but is still very presentable. Foreword by Louise Bogan, includes an index; 179 pages. $4.50 price on jacket flap; no names or other marking in or on the book.

NY: Scribners, 1942. First Edition . Hardcover. First issue, with decorated endpapers, very good in a good dust jacket. Foredge of pages a little soiled; pencil notation on blank third front endpaper. The porice clipped jacket is missing a large chip on the front panel (most of the word "Cross" is missing), with smaller chips along the top of the rear panel. Illustrated by Robert Camp, Jr. Laid in is the author's obituary from a Kansas City newspaper.

The cover is green, and has some small tears and tiny chips at the corners. How to outfit, arrange and use a kitchen. 48 pages, including three pages at the end that list and offer for sale all of the 73 Delineator booklets.

Recipes for all sorts of fowl, from chicken and turkey to woodcocks and grouse. With suggestions for wine to serve. Includes an index; 302 pages.

Fairview, OK: No Publisher; No Date. First Edition . Soft cover. Very good in wraps. Heavier cardstock covers in light green with ads inside front cover and on both sides of rear cover. Covers are somewhat soiled, as are a few of the internal pages. Ads for local businesses scattered throughout the 135 pages. Inscription in pencil on front endpaper" For Mrs. Edwards from Mrs. Bower. Compiled by Mrs. Randal's class of young married women of the M.E.S.S. 1928".

The jacket is a little soiled and has small chips at spine ends. The Tulsa author's first book, illustrated by her niece, Pat Loring Biggs. Not many of the self-published first editions survived. The book was published in 1975 by William Morrow in a much larger edition. Inscribed by the author on the title page and dated 12/12/74.

Minor handling wear to the book; the jacket has a small chip at the top of the spine and some edgewear at short tears. The Tulsa author's first book, illustrated by her niece, Pat Loring Biggs. Not many of the self-published first editions survived. The book was published in 1975 by William Morrow in a much larger edition.

Chicago.: Calumet Baking Powder Co. (1930). Second Edition . Hardcover. Dust Jacket Included. Very good+ in a very good- dust jacket. Two newspaper articles affixed to front pastedown; owner's name, place, date on fep. The jacket had numerous tape repairs at the edges from which the tape has been removed, leaving tape ghosts on the heavy green paper. There are a number of small chips and tears, as well as some staining. 20 glossy pages of color photos at rear, showing various cakes suitable for display.

(London): Leslie Frewin; (1965). First Edition . Hardcover. Dust Jacket Included. Near fine in a near fine dust jacket. Top edge of pages a little dusty, minor edgewear to jacket. A memoir by the English manager of George's, a well known restaurant in Rome. Full page inscription by the author on the title page. Introduction by Rex Harrison, a long time customer.

Black paper covered boards with a yellow cloth spine; silver line drawing of food & drink on front board. Owner names and dates (1953) on front and rear endpaper; pages are slightly tanned at edges. Line drawings by Alec Yuill-Thornton and an index; 223 pages. Price on front flap is covered by a retail book store's label. Small chips at spine ends, not really affecting any lettering. A few other small chips at edges and corners. A tight, square copy. From the front panel of the jacket: "The cookbook for men ... and for the women who cook for men".

Tulsa: Tulsa Business and Professional Women's Club; (1929). Second Edition . Hardcover. Book is in poor condition, with the front hinge completely gone and the backstrip hanging by a thread. However, interior pages seem to be all there, including a 2 page index which is detached but present. 402 pages with ome markings in the book. The first edition was published in 1924.
