The prisoners in the camp were treated by the Germans as criminals"Lieut. J. E. R. Wood went by Jerry Wood. He was a Royal Canadian Engineer platoon commander at Dieppe.Dedication on 1st inside page to Norman Brookes, signed Sincerely, Jerry, Vancouver 21 Aug 47.Book is in good condition, spine intact. Inside is clean. Cover showing some scrapes and stain. Corners of cover are bumped.Also included, which was inside the book, is Volume 2 of "This Army" by Bing Coughlin. This little soft cover book is a portfolio of cartoons drawn on the Italian battle front for The Maple Leaf Army newspaper.
