Contains a wealth of information, with a short biographical introduction for each author and very detailed descriptions of the works. Some 43 authors are included, among them John Ray, Robert Hooke, Martin Lister, Carl Linnaeus and George Crabbe, A little sunned around spine, edges slightly spotted, otherwise Very Good.

Part II, covering plant records, is arranged chronologically within its geographical subdivisions.
