Description:
New York: The Wise-Parslow Company, 1930. Hardcover. VG+. 4to - over 9¾ - 12" tall. Gertrude Alice Kay. See photos for condition details. Tall hardcover, measuring just over 9.75 inches in height. Orange cloth boards show only minor handling and color is still bright. The only flaw to the boards is the lower outside corners are both bumped. The internal binding is good and text pages are tight. It appears the book did not get much use as pages are still clean. The corner bump as seen on the exterior has left a faint impression on the interior pages. No signatures or bookplates, no library markings, no handwriting, etc. This book would normally grade as near fine to fine condition but the lower corner bump has lowered the grading.

New York: A. R. Keller & Company, 1911. 1st Edition . Hardcover. Good. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall. See photos for condition details. Hardcover, blue cloth boards with decorations on front and gilt text on spine. Front cover has bright colors though some rubbing is present. The reason for the low grade is the upper left section of the front board has some rippling, as does the extreme top left rear board. This may have been caused by exposure to moisture. The front interior pastedown also show some wrinkling in a very minor split near the top of the hinge. Remaining text pages are good, no hinge issues. No signatures or bookplates, no library markings. The only issue found on the interior pages is on the third page of Lists of Illustrations (in the front of the book), where there is a small chip on the fore edge, near the upper outside corner. Remaining pages are clean and bright. This is an attractive book though the rippling to the cloth on the front as well as the pastedown…
