Primrose yellow endpapers. Cover cloth rubbed with minor wear at corners, and to spine with splits but no loss. Gift inscribed at head of title-page: "To Miss Forrest as a small token of regard from The Author". A very good copy in attractive publishers cloth. Romantic epic set in the mountains of Ireland, with a selection of verse including several with a Scottish borders connection and an "Address to the Ladies, Versatile Polishers of Mankind".
