Softcover. Printed and illustrated by Laurence Scott. Out of a total edition of 150 copies, this is one of 45 hors commerce ("HH") signed by both Auden and the illustrator Scott. Also laid in is a presentation letter by the illustrator to a Mr. & Mrs. Stevens who Scott credits with introducing him to Auden's writing. The Stevens were apparently friends with Auden, and Scott calls it a "treat" to send them a copy of MARGINALIA (this copy). The letter is signed and dated November 16, 1866.
