Fair. Well read, former library copy. Some stains on end papers. Light margin smudges on occassion and light smudges on long and top page edges. Some spine tilt. Generally a clean, sound copy, but has all the signs of a much read, but reasonably well cared for book.

Good. INSCRIBED AND SIGNED BY BOTH AUTHOR'S IN SIDE FRONT COVER. Plastic comb. Has odor, otherwise very good. Minimal wear.

Fair. Acceptable +. Overall a nice clean copy, but sadly the spine of the dust jacket was splashed with something that stained. The bottom edge of the book's spine is also overly worn in comparison to the rest of the book. Has a 'discard/sold friends of the mls' stamp inside back cover. Has a small, non-penetrating stain on the top page edges, as well as a bit of ink...probably from the stamp used in the back of the book. Has been opened flat in several places. Text is clean and binding is sound.

Good/very good book in good minus/acceptable dust jacket. Embossed owners stamp on first leaf. Otherwise quite nice. Jacket has a nick out of it and taped repair. [should have image]

Good. 1954 printing. Good/very good. No name or markings noted. Light general wear. One copy has the Baker's plays stamps, the other one does not, but has slightly more cover wear. Both are very nice copies. [should have image of each in listing]

Fair. Image makes it look like standard paperback, but spine is actually at the top of the image.Generally clean, sound copy. covers quite foxed. Spine edges quite rubbed and front edge thin, with short tear. [spine taped] Heavy crease right corner of front cover. [listing should have image]

New. Excellent copy with very little shelf wear.

Fair. Stated first. Pamphlet/booklet. Generally solid, but has split in cover [spine fold] below first staple. Bottom right corner creased and wrinkled, first page too. Back cover has heavy rubbing with color transfer. Moderate general edge wear. Smudges on some page edges. Musty smell, but no visible evidence of water/mold/mildew.

Very Good. Appears unread/minimally read. No name or markings noted. Generally clean, sound copy. Light general wear. Front cover lift. No name or markings noted.

Good. Long gift inscription by author. First edition No.33, written in author's hand at top of fly leaf. No dust jacket. End papers lightly tanned. Otherwise, a generally clean, sound copy with light wear. Turquoise boards.

Good. Nice copy. Book is in great shape except for some corner bumping that has resulted in light creasing. Appears never read. Clean and solid. No markings noted.

Leather Bound. Fair. Nice copy. Acceptable +. Light cup ring on front cover and owners name on 'presented to' line. Some separation between pages 154 and 155. Otherwise a clean solid copy with minimal underlining and margin notes. Edge wear is very slight. Bible has light talcum/soap scent.

New. Beautiful copy with almost no shelf wear!

Good. Bit of a dusty odor. Jacket has blue tape 'spine tab' and tape repair at bottom of spine. Other than that, relatively light wear. Book has light wear, though appears well red. Final chapter has a lot of underlining. Only place it was noted. Sound binding.

Fair. Cigarette odor. Otherwise, main issue is wear through [nibble through?] on bottom edge of front cover. No name. Does have some pencil markings in text. Despite being a Spanish/English edition, the first 204 pages are in Spanish. There is Spanish/English stuff after that. Not for a true beginner. Nice copy in general.

Good. Pamphlet style, 31 pages. Stain and grease pencil price upper left corner. 234.8 Re H, bottom left corner of front cover. Otherwise, clean, solid and unmarked. No owner's name.

Fair. Appears to be missing some images. One of the blank papers for images has chunk missing on edge and is taped. The "image" pages are of a different paper and are heavily tanned and getting fragile. The "text" pages are generally in much better shape. Some small nicks taped. Taped repair to spine cover, but binding sound. [interspersed throughout the text are what I call the "image" pages. They have pictures, cemetery charts, etc glued onto them...the text pages next to them are more tanned than the other text pages.]

Lightly/moderately tanned. No name. "book sale" stamp on first leaf. Appears to be unread/minimally read, but has spine crease. Stains to covers. [should have images]

Good. Good, actually, very good copy for its age. Edges have some wear and fading, but not even any wear through, yet. Amazingly clean interior. Has State of Texas education book plates [unmarked] inside both front and back covers. Kinda cool actually. NIce!
