Ixaxaar Occult Literature, 2008. First Edition, First Printing. Hardcover. Octavo. Limited to 434 hand-numbered copies, this being No. 195. Black cloth with silver stamped titles and seal to front. Spine titled in silver. Black endpapers. 212 pages. Black and white illustrations, seals, and sigils. Exceedingly scarce in the first edition. A near fine copy in a near fine dust jacket. This book of the Scythe-Bearer provides a solid theoretical, historical and mythical foundation for the Cult of the Left-Handed Reaper, and offers clear instruction for ritual practice connected to both the folk-magical tradition, as well as the more sinister, hidden line of traditional witchcraft connected to the Cult of the Skeletal Lord of the Bloody Scythe. Written by the Magister of the Temple of the Black Light and the Templum Falcis Cruentis, and illustrated with selected original artworks depicting the esoteric manifestations of the Lord of Death, Liber Falxifer presents a unique and powerful system of both low… Read More

Description:
Munich: Theion Publishing, 2015. First Edition. Hardcover. Small quarto. 207pp. Auric Edition hand-bound in full "Kosmic Blue" leather (looks black) complemented by a consecrated silver talismanic pendant in the shape of a three-legged spinning, rotating sun wheel spraying telesmatic light, to front panel, enclosed within a blind-stamped border. Same border design to back panel. Limited to 80 hand-numbered copies, this being No. 50. With b&w photographs. A near fine copy. This groundbreaking release is the first authoritative work on Ludwig Klages and his pagan metaphysics ever to be published in English. Without a doubt Klages is one of the most intriguing and enigmatic pagan thinkers of the early 20th Century. A figure of great controversy he radically rejected Christianity and Monotheism in favor of a pan-daemonic paganism. Advocating the return to primordial states of consciousness through magico-erotic encounters with the living powers of the ensouled cosmos, Klages was a driving… Read More

Description:
No place: No publisher, no date [1953]. First Edition. Small printed envelope which contains a one page sheet of instructions (on one side only) plus a manilla envelope and 4 smaller white envelopes. Inside the manilla envelope is a fake coin (removed from its plastic wrap, though wrap still present) with one side being a 1952 Washington quarter, the other side is a Chinese coin with a square in the middle. The 2 effects listed on the sheet require a regular quarter and a Chinese coin. It is unclear if the real Chinese coin was supposed to be included here or provided from another source. The only coin here is the fake coin with two sides. The fake coin shows some wear from use. The envelopes and instruction sheet are in very nice condition. The outer envelope has light edge wear. Very good to near fine. The magician causes an American quarter to transform into an antique brass Chinese coin, that has a hole right through its center! "Chinatown Quarter" consisted of Allen's routine, as… Read More

Varanasi: Chaukhamba Surbharati Prakashan, 2019. First Edition. Hardcover in two volumes. Octavo. xxiii + 360; xi + 363 - 706pp. Both volumes bound in shimmering red silk-like material with gilt titles to front and spine. In the original dust jackets. Red page marker ribbon in each volume. Both volumes in very good or better condition in near fine dust jackets. Sabara mantras are those mantras written in regional languages and which require minimal ritual procedures in order to achieve desires and also to work magic. They were designed for people who were mostly illiterate. There are mantras here for a variety of different deities, both gods and goddesses, and many that can be used for healing, cursing (even killing), preventing witchcraft or black magic, and practically everything else. Precise instructions are given for each mantra and their various uses. At the end of the second volume is a Tantric Herbal glossary with some very useful information.

Description:
New York: Swann Galleries, 2005-2007. First Edition. Paperback. Large quartos. 3 volumes. 168, 176, 196pp. Each volume illustrated throughout in color and b&w. All volumes near fine. Susprisingly scarce as a complete set. Note: this is a heavy set of volumes. Additional shipping charges may be required for overseas orders. The Fechner collection was auctioned in three parts at Swann Galleries in New York, each a year apart (2005-2007) and each with its own illustrated catalogue. Fechner, a major French film producer for over 30 years, had built a collection widely considered to be one of the most important in the world in terms of its range and quality. Rich in 19th and 20th century material, the auctions featured a large selection of Magic Posters—many of which are very rare—as well as autographs, books, magic catalogues, photographs and other related ephemera. Over 1100 lots with estimates. A superb set of reference works.
