NO tearing to any of the dust jacket at all. Even the back of the dust jacket is quite bright and clean (often the backs of these jackets are darkened). Only some rubbing on the upper-right front corner, and some edge-wear mostly to the upper and lower spine and the top edge. Else this is a near-perfect copy! The Clue in the Crumbling Wall Nancy Drew Mystery Stories No. 22 by Carolyn Keene (collective pseudonym; actually by Harriet Stratemeyer Adams) Hardcover First Edition - Second State Dust Jacket New York: Grosset & Dunlap 1945. Identified as a first edition - second state because the last Nancy Drew title listed on the front flap of the dust jacket is "The Secret in the Old Attic" with no mention of the present title. However, the ads at the back are Beverly Gray. The first state should be Judy Bolton. Also, a war-time edition which furthers the case this book is a first printing. Extremely difficult to find with the first state jacket listing the books without mention of the present title. Also with Nancy Drew with a spy glass in silhouette in red on the front board and similar illustration on the front endpapers with other women.

Three Hearts and Three Lions by Poul Anderson Hardcover First Edition - First Printing Doubleday 1961. States "First Edition" on copyright page and $2.95 cover price on front dust jacket flap. Dust Jacket art by Edward Gorey. (NOTE: this is NOT a book club copy)
Fine in Fine- Dust Jacket, NOT price-clipped. Just about as nice a copy as you'll find of Anderson's best fantasy novel. Book itself is near perfect with straight corners, clean boards and clean pages, just a couple of tiny pin-sized dirt marks on the back boards, almost imperceptible. Dust Jacket has NO tears, just very slight edge-wear and some slight soiling to the back which is very common with Doubleday editions from circa 1960 to 1980. Overall a beautiful copy of an uncommon book, especially in this condition. LW. Currey has about four copies currently, none appear to be as good as this one based on his descriptions. NOTE: This is NOT a BCE edition.
