The jacket has slight loss at the edges of the rear panel and the spine ends. $2.00 price is present on front flap; no names or other writing in the book.

The boards have about 1" of dampstain at the foredge, as does the page block. Posthumously published by the author's son, Maxwell Abbell, and inscribed by "Max" on the title page. Laid in is an offprint of a magazine article by Max, and inscribed by him to the same person. Also laid in is a mailing label of Max, who was a CPA in Chicago. Facing pages of Hebrew and the English, with the translation by Rabbi Morris Teller; 137 pages.
