Hardback book is in Very Good to Very Good Plus condition with a tight binding and mostly clean crisp inside pages. In fact the inside text appears to have had little use. This book has come from the "Reading Laboratory at the New Mexico Military Institute in Roswell, New Mexico". It has that exact school stamp on the first and last blank end page and also on the top page ends. I remember driving through Roswell, New Mexico on my way to my first US Army assignment at Ft. Bliss, in El Paso, Texas coming from the East Coast! Cloth cover pictorial book is in Good Plus to Very Good Minus condition with a tight binding and mostly clean crisp pages. This is an ex-school book with only school markings on the first and second pages. Outside pictorial cloth covers are nice with some corner wear. Harder to Find title in this edition!

Cloth cover pictorial book has a tight binding and mostly clean crisp pages with two bent upper page corners. There are three "New Mexico Military Institute" out of Roswell, New Mexico stamps- one of the first blank end page, one of the last blank end page, and on the top page ends. No other markings or writing! When I think of New Mexico Military Academy (NMMI), I think of Roger Staubach, who spent one year there following High School and then going on to the United States Naval Academy, then to Vietnam, and then to the Dallas Cowboys and the Football Hall of Fame! Staubach was actually at NMMI in 1960, so maybe he handled this book! Outside covers are nice with some minor corner and edge wear. Overall Nice Vintage collectible book with the NMMI connection!

This is the 1966 Edition. This book is truly in Excellent to Like New condition! Tight binding and clean crisp pages. Book appears to be UNREAD and UNUSED! The inside text is very nice! There is a very small green dot on the top page ends near the inside spine- a remainder dot? Outside covers are nice with nice corners and edges. Harder to Find title in this edition!

This is part of the Harper & Row Design for Reading Opening Doors. From "The American Adventure Series". Large Softcover book is in Very Good condition with a tight binding and mostly clean crisp inside pages. It looks like there was a number written in pencil at the top right hand corner area of the front cover and first end page that have been erased. No other writing or marks inside or outside of the book. There are no actual school markings in the book and the book does not appear to have had much use. Inside text actually appears pretty much unread with some early bottom corner wear- this is minor. Outside softcover pictorial covers are nice with some outside corner wear. Great series!

Cloth cover book has a tight binding and mostly clean internal pages with some minor soiling. This appears to be an ex-school library or class book as it has a pocket inside the back cover and a "Date Due" sheet on the last end page- BUT the "Date Due" sheet has no entries. There is a single name and four digits written in the top right hand corner of the first end page. There also appears to be a very light school stamp inside the front and back covers, but again, this is very light. No other school markings or writing noted. There is a soiled spot on the lower portion of some page ends- this soiled spot only effects the border on some pages and has no effect on the inside text or pictures on most pages. Outside cloth covers show some wear to the outside corners and edges.

This is the last book in the wonderful Landmark series and normally found to be the most difficult to find to complete your collection! Hardback Pictorial Cover Book is in Good Plus or better condition with a tight binding and mostly clean crisp pages. This is an Ex-Library book from the Marhall School Library in Scranton, PA. (President Biden's first hometown, which he never lets us forget!) Book has the expected library markings, but they are not excessive. Inside text is in Very Good condition with primarily clean crisp pages. There is also a name written in small letter in the top left corner of the first blank end page. The last time this book was checked out from the Library was March 21, 1978- only 46 years ago!!!! Outside pictorial covers are nice with some minor soiling and wear to include the covers, corners, edges, and spine. Tough book to find and complete your collection!

Outside cloth covers are nice. Dust Jacket is nice with the exception of a scuff mark on the front cover measuring about 1/2" x 1 1/2" with some minor soiling and edge chipping. Dust Jacket is now covered by a new clear mylar cover. Nice condition vintage book!

This is from the 1950's Dick and Jane series from Scott Foresman, but Dick and Jane do not appear in this volume.
