Focused on anti-colonial literature; the last entry is a speech by Patrice Lumumba.

Mattapan, MA: Hammer & Steel, 1967. Four-panel leaflet, vertical crease, some toning and wear, publishing a message to the editors from a group of students at Oberlin in October 1967. Homer Chase, a Maoist, created Hammer and Steel under the organizational name of the New England Party of Labor. The Oberlin students here ask H&S to reprint their statement for broad distribution. It calls on Oberlin students to follow the tradition of John Brown, who had been the son of a college trustee, by supporting self-determination for the Black Belt.

Opening with an eye-catching and gruesome scene, this society novel is set in Victorian England. Taking on various social problems, the author emphasizes good deeds as the true form of Christianity. *Wright 3982.

no place: Corvus Editions, 2009. Hardcover. 20p., 4.5x11.25 inches, very good first limited edition [no limitation noted] designed and bound by Shawn P. Wilbur, hand-bound in sewn signatures and decorative weave boards with black cloth backing and paper title labels on spine and both covers. Originally published in Brussels in 1862 and is attributed to the editor of the radical paper "le Prolétaire" A lost classic of early Libertarian writings. Wilbur reprints classic lost leftist and anarchist essays in small runs, usually as pamphlets but often does interest fine bindings. Not likely many of these around. One copy located in OCLC as of 5/2023.

Portland, OR: Tollman (Studio), 1900. Photo from the negative printed 5.5x7.5 inches in sepia, mounted on 8.5x10.5 inch pressed cardstock titled in silver foil. The sepia image is faded, evenly enough, but dim's the watchword; the cardboard frame, pressed in blind, is attractive and in very good shape (pace light edgewear). Image taken from an elevation west of Shasta, directly eastwards across a wide valley, shows forested land; Shastina is very plain.
