Dj w/clear plastic cover; author photo is Effinger wearing Arab headgear. BOLDLY SIGNED AND INSCRIBED BY AUTHOR TO Christopher Erhard on title page. George Alec Effinger (January 10, 1947 April 27, 2002) was an American science fiction author, born in Cleveland, Ohio. Westwood Associates created a video game based on the book and Christopher Erhard designed and produced many of their sci-fi games, including "Circuit's Edge." In the inscription Effinger thanks him: "To Christopher Erhard, who's helping me to see these degenerates--George Alec Effinger." A rare and beautiful association copy of novel, set in a decadent Arab ghetto.
