London: Macmillan UK, 1988. Beautiful wrap-around dust jacket art by Richard
Hopkinson. Lacks a cover price, probably for the export markets to
Canada and Australia. (Reprinted in the US by St. Martin's Press whose cover art is not nearly as good or vivid.) Copyright
1988 without any other printing indications and lists "Consider
Phlebas" as the only other Culture novel flanking the title page along
with other Banks titles.Fine
in Fine Dust Jacket. A near perfect copy, outwardly exceptional. Some
natural aging to the text-block and but very little toning as is common
with UK editions. Tiny hint of shelf-wear to the top of the spine, and a
tiny pin-prick on the spine, almost unnoticeable. The dust jacket is
fine, and completely intact.NOTE: All modern… Read More

Description:
Books of Blood Volume 3 III First UK Hardcover Edition with cover art by Clive Barker (author of Weaveworld, The Hell-Bound Heart (aka Hellraiser), Imagica, Abarat, etc). Part of the definitive hardcover set. Near Fine in Near Fine+ dust jacket. A nice copy, not perfect, typical age-toning to the text-block. Age-toning is common with UK hardcover editions published circa 1980 to 2000. Corners tender but not really bumped, and a tiny hint of bowing out of the front board, not too noticeable. The jacket would be near-perfect save a nick to the lower right-hand corner. Still a smart copy. Copies of this edition are difficult to come by right now. Priced to sell. NOTE on edition: The definitive hardcover six-volume set with jacket cover art by Clive! Simultaneously released in a signed-limited edition. Originally released as paperback originals by Sphere UK in 1984. Also published by Scream Press in four volumes, the first volume combining the first four books and equivalent trade editions where volume 4… Read More

Description:
Mr. Jones and Mr. Finnigan by Eva Knox Evans and Erick Berry Hardcover First Edition - First Printing Oxford: Oxford University Press, 1941. $1.00 cover price. Tan cloth with jacket. Fully illustrated with both b&w and four-color images/pictures. Scarce children's book about the virtues of eating in moderation. Mr. Finnigan is an overweight glutton and his friend Mr. Jones eats in moderation. As the story progresses, Mr. Jones begins behaving like his friend and starts getting fat!
Essentially Near Fine+ in Very Good+ Dust Jacket. Book is solid and clean with the occasional spot here and there. Chip to the lower spine and nicks and repaired tears to the jacket which is typical of most children's books published prior to circa 1980. A nice example of what appears to be a very uncommon if not scarce children's book and desirable in its original dust jacket. I could find very little information about this book.
NOTE: All modern books with dust jackets come with dust jacket covers.

Fine- in Near Fine+ Dust Jacket. A really nice copy, the book itself is near perfect, clean pages, clean boards, sharp corners, except some ghost marks on the ffep. The dust jacket is for the most part quite clean and bright, NO tearing, some slight toning here and there, which is typical of this edition. Still a beautiful copy, not often found as such.
