Fair. Former retirement village library copy. Has stamp and spine tab. Jacket is worn around the edges and has some foxing. Book itself is square, tight and generally clean. Does have a few fox spots on top page edges.

Fair. INSCRIBED AND SIGNED BY AUTHOR. No other markings noted. Stated first. PERFUME ODOR is reason for acceptable. Book is in nice shape, with some tight tip wear. Dark blue boards with gold spine lettering. Square and sound. Jacket is worn and chipped around edges; tanned as well. Has water stain on edge of back fold. Light lines in image are scanner fault, not jacket fading.

Fair. Spine slant. No dust jacket. Edges grubby and corners have wear through. Book is solid, but text has numerous smudges in margins. Date stamps [3] on back end paper.

Fair. Jacket heavily rubbed and foxed, with multiple taped repairs. . Boards, especially spine cover, damaged through poor storage conditions. Name and date on front leaf. Some underlining. Binding appears sound.

Sheet music. Good. Name in pencil on front cover. No other markings noted. Lightly tanned. Light/moderate wear.

Very Good. Excellent copy! Different cover, same ed. Looks like it may have been dropped on its bottom right corner, slightly bent. Minor edge and cover wear. Has old $3.00 price tag on the back.

1922 printing of the 1898 edition. [before the 1924 revisions] Book is heavily worn. Boards are worn and stained. There are some stains in the body of the text as well, especially at the page edges. Back spine hinge is taped. Inside there are notes and writing, beginning with the inside of the front cover, Some [many] pages of the text have no writing, other pages are almost completely covered in notes. Several paper breaks in the text, but the webbing, though old and fragile is still [currently] sound.

Good. Nice copy. Name on end paper and underlining and notes in first quarter of book. Clean and solid.

Fair. Book is good, jacket is poor. Jacket heavily damaged on back. Yellow tape [like library marker with no writing] on spine of jacket. Book has card pocket and return slip in back. Page edges faintly grubby, otherwise, very good. Appears minimally read.

Paperback. Very Good. 1941 David McKay Company printing. Appears to be unused/minimally used. In excellent shape. [see image]

Good. Something blacked out on fly leaf/title page. Otherwise in excellent condition. Some rubbing with color transfer on back cover. Nice copy.

Very Good. Book is practically perfect. Dust jacket has light edge wear and some light marks on the back. [possibly crayon or grease pencil...not a lot and not heavy, but there.]

Fair. Minimal wear to boards. No dust jacket [as published?] Brown [leatherette?] boards. 1981 Metro Press [1st?] No name, but has highlighting. Small mar inside frotn cover in top, left corner. Sound binding. Odd odor. Not cigarette, perfume or mildew, but beyond that???

Fair. Covers have quite a bit of light staining. Taped tears, bottom and top of spine. Edge wear. Looks like spine was re-glued, but binding seems sound. Portion cut out of top left corner of first title page. Pages clean. Sewn binding, so re-glue would have been just to keep cover on.

Veery good book in rough [but not trashed] jacket.

Good. BOOK ONLY! Very good condition, pristine and almost 'like new', except that it is only the book. Book is almost square. 4&1/2 inches wide and 5 inches tall.
