NOT THE TWO VOLUME HARDCOVER SET but a "sampler" of pages in that set by the same people who produced the set. Confusing, yep but from what I've seen it has the same information, less of it, and the same photos, less of them...but you know, there you go. I'm not selling it well obviously because it's kind of different, maybe an abridged kind of thing. Is in nice shape, one cool thing about it is that it comes from the Estate of the Actual Stamford, CT Studio of famed "Beetle Bailey" cartoon illustrator, Mort Walker. That's all I got. Book is in good shape couple bruises to the dust jacket, is inscribed by the author. The book came from the estate of a book reader who liked to underline, I've checked this book several times for any underlining but haven't found any, it doesn't mean it is underline free, sometimes it was done in pen, easy to spot, sometimes done in pencil, not so easy to spot.

Stated first edition signed by Author: Leon C Metz, and Historian (photographs from the collection of) Millard G McKinney, and the Designer/Publisher: Frank Mangan. The book itself looks unread and is in great shape for being over 40 years old. Not that it matters much but the book was purchased from the estate of the Studio of Beetle Bailey Illustrator, Mort Walker. I will enclose a redacted receipt from the estate auction as well. Got this as a gift when a friend thought I had Cushing's Disease...turns out I didn't so never read the book, the front cover sticks up for some reason though. If you know someone who has the issues covered in this book, it might help them which is why I priced it so low...help someone out.

So, possibly the weirdest book I've got...it seems it was a party favor at a Billionaire's Birthday Party...yeah that's what I thought too. Here's what it says: "Welcome to the birthday party in honor of Barry Sternlicht," and is signed by Pat Conroy, the author of the book. The first few pages of the book are all wrinkly from, I'm guessing, pasting the birthday greeting on the 1st page. The rest of the book is in nice shape. That's all I got...Belated Happy Birthday Mr. Sternlicht.
