Very lightly sunned along spine, else a fine copy. Appears unopened.

D. to fellow poet Gordon Bottomley (1874-1948). The inscription includes lines from the text, and reads: "H. D. / to / Gordon Bottomley, / . . . the keepers of the secret . . . / that binds all humanity / to ancient wisdom, / to antiquity. / May 14 -- 1944" on the title page in blue fountain pen ink. The Bottomley bookplate is on the pastedown. Only minimal wear to this fine association copy.

Author photo on the rear jacket flap by Dubie's wife, Jeannine Dubie, and a strong jacket review by David St. John on the rear panel. The book and price clipped jacket are both in fine condition, showing only gentle wear including mild aging to top edge, and no remainder marks. An uncommon title to find without remainder marks, and quite scarce signed.
