New York: Scholastic, 2020. First edition. Hardcover. New. 296pp. Octavo. [24cm] Illustrated paper over boards. Illustrated dust jacket. "Witches are real, and they are very, very dangerous. They wear ordinary clothes and have ordinary jobs, living in ordinary towns all across the world -- and there's nothing they despise more than children. When an eight-year-old boy and his grandmother come face-to-face with the Grand High Witch herself, they may be the only ones who can stop the witches' latest plot to stamp out every last child in the country! This full-color graphic novel edition of Roald Dahl's The Witches, adapted and illustrated by Eisner Award winner Pénélope Bagieu, is the first-ever Dahl story to appear in this format. Graphic novel readers and Roald Dahl fans alike will relish this dynamic new take on a uniquely funny tale.

Description:
New York: Hastings House, 1941. First edition. Hardcover. Very good +. 595 pp. Octavo. [21 cm]. Blue cloth over boards with gilt title stamped on spine and front board. Original dust jacket has tearing and scuffing along edges and a small [1 mm] hole on front panel. A stated first edition copy of the respected guide to Utah history with a forword by Gail Martin. Part of the American Guide Series. This was Morgan's first full-scale book. Though others contributed to the work Morgan did such significant editing and rewriting before publication that much of the work is de facto his own. It had the well deserved reputation of being one of the best volumes in the series. The quality of the work assumes added significance when it is noted that the book was completed and published before Morgan's twenty-seventh birthday without the benefit of academic training in historical methodology. - Saunders 13.

Tucson, AZ: Nazraeli Press & JGS, 2005. First edition. Hardcover. Very Good. Thin square quarto [24 cm] Beige silk cloth over boards with an illustrated paper label mounted to the front board. "This stark itinerary of images by Francesca Danieli represents an impassioned defense of the subject and its objects.
