It is an expensive very-detailed book that I have enjoyed many times and shall not sell Doughty was a famous explorer of the Middle East and was writing of Arabia in 1875 to 1878 in Ottoman times. The book was in 2 volumes and massive. In 1908 Scribner's published an abridged version, also in two volumes. I am offering just volume 2. I have graded it very good because the text pages, the frontis, and terrific map are in top like-new condition even though this is ex-library with the front board covered in white, clean, sheet of paper and a pocket at the back.
