Description:
Rapture. First Edition. Paperback. Good/No Jacket. Paperback, no date but circa 1970? A scarce title, in Good condition, Some general surface wear and rubbing. Binding is solid and square, with no creasing to the spine. However, the red ink of the spine has almost entirely faded so that white lettering of the title is barely visible. Touch of fading to spot at upper left corner of front cover. A Rapture Novel - "The Finest In Adult Reading". The Receptor is a technological breakthrough that records the full senses of an actor - not just what they see and hear, but all the physical sensations of touch and smell and taste, the actor's emotions - even their very thoughts. Naturally, the device is immediately turned to the production of pornography. A very scarce SF sleaze PB, highly collectible even with the faded spine.
