Description:
Moscow: Foreign Language Publishing House, 1948. 736pp. Translated by J. Fineberg, just as the American edition later published by Stein and Day, but several hundred pages longer; hence the Stein and Day edition credits two "editors" as well as the translator. An unusual design for Foreign Languages Publishing House - full size, not the usual small size from that pubisher, and the covers have an abstract reddish design - see photo. Probably paper over boards; the edges are chipped. And a thick ribbon placeholder.
