Imprimerie Eleuthere Barrasrt. Portfolio of Prints. Good. This is a folio sized portfolio of photographic prints of architectural ruins and Roman buildings in Charlieu and Brionnais France. The book was published in 1891 or 1892, the publication date is not in this book. The book measures 13x19.5. The coer has stains and wear, the cloth spine is torn and barely holding. Interior pages are loose as intended. While there is an illustrated frontis (it's tanned) there is no title page, if one is supposed to be here. There are some light liquid stains on the top edge and scattered spotting throughout, the photos are sepia toned. All 51 pages of prints are present. Dickinson is signed by the artist in pencil lower right, and inscribed by Mr. Dickinson in pen "Your affectionate father John D. Dickinson," print says "Drawn on Stone" on the lower left. The lithographic print was printed in 1844 by Peter S. Duval of Philadelphia. There is a liquid stain on the upper edge, there is some foxing as well. The print measures 11.50x12.75", paper measures 12.50x16.5". Dickinson was a Representative from New York from 1819 to 1823 and again from 1827-1831.
