Biting Dog Press. Fine. (2012). First Edition. Hardcover. These hand-printed broadsheets were made in celebration of the wedding of Neil Gaiman and Amanda Palmer. The poem was written by Neil Gaiman about the night before their wedding. 50 unique folios only (of which this is one) contain two versions of the same broadsheet: a proof copy and the final edition that were printed in a limited edition of 250. The typefaces used are Granjon, Dyer, Willow and You Murderer. The embossing was done from polymer plates that were mounted type high and then squeezed through the press by hand. The paper is acid free 250 gm archival Rising Stonehenge. The wood engravings are incised on end grain maple and were made by George A. Walker who also designed and hand-printed the whole project. Ethyl Corporation. Very Good+. 1952. Facsimile. Softcover. Facsimile of the rare 1860 Sloan & Griffith publication. Pamphlet is in fine condition, never read. Contained in a half-leather & cloth clamshell box. Includes the Explanatory Notes pamphlet in a pocket. The leather spine shows only a bit of rubbing at the upper end, otherwise very nice indeed. Gilt is bright. In the matching slipcase which has a 1" stain to the closed end and a bit of light wear. Very solid. ; 8vo 8" - 9" tall .

A couple of very small tears to two corners. There is a 1" closed tear to the upper, front panel. A bit of wear along the spine edges. It is addressed to Prof. Charles F. Shaw and dated in 1938. The covers are unevenly faded. There is a 1" piece missing from the upper spine and a couple of tears to the lower spine edges. Mejico: En Casa Del Editor. Very Good. 1903. First Edition. Vellum. Full vellum, lettered by hand on the spine. Leather fasteners to the cover fore edges. The upper one is broken. The pages are toned. A long horizontal tear to leaf 151/52. There is a large piece missing from the fore edge of leaf 241/42. Several words are slightly affected. The vellum is quite wrinkled and somewhat stained. The text is without marking or underlining. Quite a scarce book on Motolinia, Franciscan missionary and one of the famous Twelve Apostles of Mexico. ; 8vo 8" - 9" tall; 364 pages .
