Description:
This book is an anthology of modern and fairly recent, for the time published, writings about and by Russians. It is signed and dedicated to my late mother by Nagendra himself. Nagendra was something of an apologist for the Soviet Union, which is understandable as it too, was being attacked by the Nazis at the time this book was being written, and at that time the United States had not yet entered the War. The portion of the back jacket flap which remains has an exhortation to listen to the BBC, wherever you might be. Reprints of this book exist though this particular copy is an original, signed and dedicated first edition published in 1943.
I suppose overseas shipping is possible but be prepared for high expense and lots of extra time to do it.
