Full leather with 4 raised bands to spine, and a little tooled decoration to boards, red speckled page edges. Part 1: 360pp, Part 2: 308pp; h: 18cm. With frontispiece engraved portrait of the author in his robes of Chief Justice of the King's Bench. Each part has an anonymous preface. Fair condition overall: the text block (pages) are very good, largely clean (a few marginal marks) and soundly bound; however the covers are poor: very worn, with the front board detached (present), title panel to spine and part of panel above are missing. Clean bright covers with light rubbing to edges, pages have darkened closed edges with some foxing, and occasional marks and spots to margins.
