The Author has devoted twenty-seven years to the intensive study of wild birds in their natural surroundings in Cornwall and has detailed knowledge and experiences to write about. The book is illustrated with sixteen fine pen-and-ink drawings by R. A. Richardson, himself a keen ornithologist and observer. The spine is a little faded and the pages have rough edges on the bottom. The Jacket has been taped around the edges and has been torn on the inside cover, the edges are a little rough.
