London: Sidgwick & Jackson, 1911. First edition.. Dark blue cloth, spine lettered in gilt. Top edge not gilt. Small ownership signature on front end paper, a little discoloration of cloth at the fore-edges, a bright very good copy. This is the second binding, with no lettering on the front cover; the first binding had gilt lettering on the spine and front cover, and the top edge was gilt. Copies are also seen in green cloth. An early novel of a super human, a Wunderkind or Homo Superior. Bleiler: Science-Fiction: The Early Years, 182. Locke: A Spectrum of Fantasy, pg. 32 (not describing this binding).

London and Manchester: Haywood, [ca.1900]. Small 8vo. [92]pp. + 16pp of testimonials for another of Muddock's books. Brown decorative cloth designed in gilt, ruled in black. Yellow end papers. Frontispiece portrait. Some page corners broken off, lacking the front free end paper, old stain to upper margin of the frontispiece, but in general very good otherwise. The first edition was published by Simpkin, Marshall, Hamilton, Kent, & Co. This is perhaps the third edition. Muddock also wrote as Dick Donovan.

Ottawa: Orme, [c.1873]. . Sheet music, 4 leaves, disbound from a volume. Remains of stitching at spine, very good condition. Small circular ink stamp at lower front cover, from a Montreal distributor. This copy has been trimmed slightly to fit into the binding, affecting the first word of the title at the top, and the imprint at the bottom. A nice lithographic cover depicting the Countess of Dufferin [Hariot Georgina Hamilton-Temple-Blackwood, Marchioness of Dufferin and Ava; 1843 - 1936]. Illustrated ads on the rear cover are for J.L. Orme & Son, music and instrument dealers in Ottawa. Lady Dufferin is notable for having led an initiative to improve medical care for women in British India, which she undertook to do at the request of Queen Victoria.
