Incomplete with forty plates out of forty-four. Missing four plates, pages 37, 43, 73, and 79. A collection of cartoons by Edmund Sullivan, a book illustrator who worked largely in the Art Nouvea style. At the time he was working in the late nineteenth century, book illustrations were on the rise, with authors like Charles Dickens' having etchings in all of their novels.
