Operation PUSH (People United to Save Humanity and later People United to Serve Humanity) was a movement that turned away from civil rights and towards civil society by focusing on individual morality and skillset. Founded and directed by Jesse L. Jackson in the early 1970s, certain dimensions of the organization took aim at youth education and self-help as did this particular pamphlet.
