A pristine copy of the 1974 reprint of this title, first published in 1922. This is an edited copy of a manuscript from the Cotton Collection in the British Museum, and it is written in what I take to be Middle English, so don't expect an easy read! However, you will not be distracted by markings in the text, as there are none. The binding is tight, but the boards are a little faded, with bumped corners. .

The actual title is not Color Atlas of Stroke: Cerebrovascular Diease and its Management, but more simply, Color Atlas of Cerebrovascular Disease and its Management. This particular set was distributed by Miles Inc., a pharmaceutical company, so perhaps they varied the title although not the contents. If what you are looking for is a very detailed set of photos and images showing every aspect of stroke, from the changes in the brain to the appearance of patients, then this is the set of books you seek.There is a bit of light shelfwear to the covers, and a stamping on the front page of each volume, but no markings in the text or signs of heavy use. .

Greece is so famous for ancient and medieval art that it is good to be reminded that there are also contemporary Greek painters. There is some shelfwear to the covers, but the interior is pristine. Not all authors are named, as there were many contributors. Maybe Dr. Lehmann married his graduate student, because Phyllis Williams Lehmann joins him as editor early on. The first volume was issued in 1958, the last in 1964. The books have call numbers on the spines, and the jackets have been discarded but with a blurb from the front jacket flap taped to the last page (the first one is missing), but there are absolutely no other library markings, meaning that there are no stampings, The dark red buckram bindings have only slight wear, none structural.
