Description:
Set in the idyllic village of Cherry Hill, described in the novel as the "prettiest village in Ontario," Little Miss Melody centres on the experiences of a young girl named Janet Meldrum. This is an endearing and whimsical account of life in small-town, rural Ontario in the early twentieth century written by Marian Keith (1874-1961), the pen name of Mrs Esther MacGregor, nee Miller, an author from Orillia, Ontario, many of whose novels were set in small-town Ontario and included religious and social themes. This copy is in Good condition, with some wear to the top of the spin, mild bumping to the corners, and some paint marks on the front cover. Otherwise, the binding is tight and the text entirely legible. It does not have a dust jacket.
