Book it self has been stamped on edges and the pocket is on the last left with due date sticker inside the book last page of the leaf. Book appears to only have bruised top spine edge and very minor thin line of fade top. It is unread tightness. There is a number stamp across from the copyright page. Only markings. Not checked out. Very nice copy of this Pulitzer winner.

STATED FIRST EDITION,LIGHT SHELFWEAR AND SIGNED SIGNATURE ONLY 1ST LEAF,DJ: HAS SOILING,SHELFWEAR,PRICE INTACT,CHEAP PRICE FOR NICE BOOK AND SIGNATURE.

Book Club Edition, it has a sample of Mark Twain's handwriting, pre-printed of course. Book has minor wear/rubbing and is unread tightness, square, and very clean. The DJ has soiling and small tears causing it to fold on itself.

This is one of the signed series by Franklin Library. Brown leather with gilt decorations, lettering and page ends. I do no see any defects but NF in case I missed something.

This book is still factory sealed. This one of the signed books made of leather and gilt page ends, decorations and lettering. It is usual for me to rate a book as Fine, but when there are no signs of defects and still seal from the factory it is fine.

1938,Scribners,Tan(?) Cloth with Green decorations and lettering. Grayish Green(?) top page end(first edition issue point), rough cut fore edge(issue point), milled bottom edge pages. the gutters have a small amount of Cheap Glue color front(very minor) and back(cleaner than photo, used white eraser, it worked). Has the "A" and Scribners Seal on the copyright page with 1938 on the main title page(1st Edition issue points). The pastedown pages front and rear are very clean, no markings of any kind, beige cloth and all paper is also off white or light toning..spine ends very lightly bruised. DJ is price-clipped with minor edge wear, one stain(coming from inside(?)less than thumb nail size. Now in Brodart(clear plastic protection). This is the best copy I have ever seen, it is beautiful(check photos you decide). Stored in Baggie(moisture and dust protection) inside a iPad sleeve(protected against light).

DJ HAS MINOR SOILING AND MINOR CHIPPING,PRICE INTACT $2.50 included is a photo of the Author and two dogs with a facsimile signature from the School Edition.

GREEN CLOTH WITH SILVER LETTERING. The spine is dirty and most of its lettering is missing except the publisher's name at the bottom. There are silver corner protectors installed(Not the best, but cute). been read a couple of times or three but still tight. The top edge looks to be stained yellow, the fore-edge is rough cut & the bottom is milled lightly age-toned. On the 1st title page, the author has written "To Sadie (printed CROSS CREEK), with love, Marjorie Kinnan Rawlings(underlined)" just below that is a drawing of a Lady's hand holding a flower as a hummingbird drinks nectar. This book is included with the 1st edition of The Yearling listed on this site. But with all added books, if you just got to have it well buy it.
