Cloth rubbed, worn at spine ends and corners softened. Two previous owner bookplates to front endsheet, previous owner address to first blank, bookseller ticket to rear paste down. A lovely copy of this scarce rifle training manual, written by Theodore Thaddeus Sobieski Laidley, a Civil War veteran, serving post-war as the Colonel of Ordnance at the Watertown Arsenal in Massachusetts.

Fine with a little age-toning to contents, in a slightly foxed and rubbed dust jacket with a small penciled checkmark on its spine panel, Very Good+. A mystery novel from a small publisher that generally sold to lending libraries; copies in the original jackets in nice shape are rare.

Very Good with light soiling and staining to wraps, a little chipping and curling at extremities, slight roll to spine, contents foxed, half title apparently glued to verso of front wrap, uncut. McCabe read the voice Senator Joseph Payne in the 1940 BBC radio adaptation. Bound in publisher's orange cloth stamped in purple. Very Good. Dust-soiled, foxed and a bit musty. In a like dust jacket, which is also sunned and edge-tattered. The novelization of Frank Capra's 1939 film bearing the same title.

Dubbing itself "The Magazine That's Not for Everyone, " Damage was a calendar of events for San Francisco with interviews, reviews, and features, showcasing the tail end of punk's first wave and its splitting into post-punk, new wave, no wave, and hardcore scenes.
