Philadelphia: Carey, Lea, & Blanchard, 1835 Two volumes bound in brown cloth with white paper labels, ex-college library with usual markings. Volume 1 has a large closed tear on one blank endpaper and a chip to the lower margin fo the title page. Both volumes are foxed. Otherwise clean, bright and tight.

Dutton, 1955 About Very Good. This is the 5th printing, ex-school library, pocket carefully removed from front endpaper, fewer than usual marks, letters on spine.

Fleming H Revell, 1911 Bound in red ribbed cloth with blind stamped floral borders on front covers, this 106 page book covers the experiences of a missionary in Hadjin Turkey in the early 1900s. The Armenian were treated as inferior beings but when the government of Turkey declared them equal in rights to the Mohammedans the fire was started that led to the massacres of the Armenians at Mohammedan hands. As to condition, there is a small spot on the front cover and the spine titles are flaking and there is a spot on the margin of one page, otherwise internally near fine.

London : Hazell, Watson & Viney, 1902 Bound in red cloth, 71 pp. plus xviii pages ads. Early photography book with ads for cameras, film and photography chemicals. This copy with chipped spine, spotting to front cover, shaken but still holding.

Chicago: Kosmos, 1904 Slender deep purple volume with gilt titles, this has bumped corners, 2" tear on the front endpaper near the joint, small tear on title page.

London : MacMillan, 1918 Bound by Sangorski and Sutcliffe in elaborate maroon Morooca leather with gilt borders and elaborate gilt spines with five raised bands, aeg. 210 pp. Except for the preliminaries an unread book with slight rubbing at spine extremities.

Thomas B. Mosher, 1896 Ex-college library with book plate and numbers on the verso of title page as the only markiings. Slipcase is rubbed, darkened and splitting at the top joint. Otherwise fie boo kin very good slipcase.

London : Longmans, Green & Co., 1893 Bound in dark blue cloth with elaborate gilt decorations, 337pp plus 1pp ads, aeg. This copy with a trace of wear at tips, bump to lower front board and one corner, some bubbling on back cover [no signs of any water, must be a manufacturing defect], sporadic light foxing, otherwise a very good copy.

Scribner, 1926 Good. Front cover scuffed, front hinge starting, pages clean and bright.

Spine sunned, label chipped but still legible, foxed preliminaries through title page, also rear endpapers, contents very good.

Volland, 1925 Bound in decorated boards, published by Volland [no other printings mentioned], an attractive copy. The spine is very slightly darkened and has a 1/2" tear at the bottom rear hinge and wear at the top. Internally near fine copy. Overall a very good to near fine copy.

London: G.G.J. And J. Robinson, 1789 Binding copy with text in good condition [faint waterstain appearing, disappearing and reappearing throughout. Hard to collate illustrations as some are bound out of sequence, at least one plate has two examples bound in, 241 pages of text.

Circleville, Ohio, 1852 Bound in blind stamped brown cloth with gilt spine titles, 222 pp. Wear at tips, light pencil scribbles on rear end papers, name in pencil on front end paper dated may, 1852, light to moderate foxing.

Lippencott, 1884 Bound in brwon cloth with orange, brown and gilt decorations, 245 pp plus 8 pp ads. General soil and edge wear, one sig detached. Still a better than usual copy of a children's book from this time period.

Harbor Press, 1955 Sharp 3 volume set of the Harbor Scholar's Classics, stated first edition of this reissue of the work published in 1877. Sharp set with the spines slightly darkened and minor wrinkling at spine extremities, finger smudge to the spine of volume 1. Extra shipping may be charged for this set.

Auburn: Derby & Miller, 1852 Bound in brown cloth which is sunned on spine and edges, 246 pp. "third thousand". Tips are worn through. Glassine guard between the frontis and title page is creased and foxed affecting the tp and frontis. Other than occasional light foxing book is internally near fine.
