The memoirs of General Douglas MacArthur, Reminiscences, were published posthumously. The "Special Limitation" pages were signed a few months prior to his death in April of 1964, and individually tipped into this publication. The same year, a separate signed limited edition was produced for the MacArthur Memorial Foundation, signed by Jean MacArthur, with a facsimile signature of Douglas MacArthur.
