This edition features 16 wonderful full-page color plates by ARTHUR RACKHAM (all 16 plates are present). There is also a black & white map of "Peter Pan's Kensington's Gardens."Condition:There are blotches along the length of the spine. Sharp cover corners. Tight binding with no loose pages. The paper between the rear end paper and pastdown has split along the length of the hinge - despite the splitting of the paper, the back cover remains firmly attached and is not shaky. This is a Valentine's Day issue of the publication "The Housewife" from February, 1910. The highlight of this issue is an uncommon, early, serialized installment of "ANNE OF GREEN GABLES" by L.M. Montgomery - chapters 10 through 15. This is the 3rd of seven installments. The story features illustrations by Mabel L. Humphrey.Condition:The front cover has some small foxing/stain spots at the bottom edge. The back cover has a small, light stain at the bottom-right corner, and some tiny foxing spots at the center. The spine has small tears along its length. The paper has split 1.5" down from the top of the spine. Both covers and all pages are firmly attached. Pages 5-20 are attached to each other at the spine, though this cluster is disbound from the magazine itself (this may be as issued). There are some tiny tears along the perimeter of the covers.
