The covers are tidy and bright, wear around the spine edges, the inner front hinge is loosened but secure. The text is complete, tidy internally, light toning and marking, frontispiece with light browning and small fore-edge margin stain. Chapman and Hall publishers lists on the endpapers (including an interesting list of travel books on the rear endpaper and early advert for Dickens' Works). This book covers the Continuation war ('41-'44) and the Lapland War ('44-'45), very well illustrated throughout. 336 pages.

The hinges are good- but overpulled in 2 places internally. Foxing to the frontispiece reverse and to the frontispiece tissue guard, toning to the pages, some browning to the front and rear endpapers, stub from a plate pasted down at the inner margin between text pages 160-161. Neat 1915 inscription on the endpaper. Contains 8 sheets of colour plates + black and white illustrations. Pages; XII, 307. Fairly tidy copy.
