There are bumps to the corners and some chipping to the spine ends. The spine is also sunned. Light, overall soiling. A 1/2" stain toward the upper spine. Toning to the endpapers. The text block is somewhat shaken. Several leaves were opened roughly so there is some tearing along the some page fore edges. Some marginal soiling to a number of pages. A good copy only of a scarce, classic Nesbit fantasy. ; 8vo 8" - 9" tall; 352 pages .
