Beautiful copy of this illustrated Japanese story of the Moon Faced Princess, text in english, many wonderful line drawings several full page. 132 pages which are very clean and bright except for the last page which is almost totally browned and endpapers which are lightly foxed. Outer covers are extremely bright just a few light marks on edges. Book is protected by semi opaque paper believed to be original as issued but not entirely sure, it has really kept the covers very clean.1888 is only date in the book possible first?
