The Fan Club has since dissolved, little documentation available, but this card issued at the height of Parton's success and fame while she headed the adult entertainment magazine, "High Society," one of few women publishers of pornographic magazines. The magazine itself had been running in some variation since the 1950s. 3.5 x 2 inches, round corners, Parton silhouette printed in red, text in black, brushed gold lightweight metal (tin? steel?), thin as a credit card.
