VG. 1971 Avon N368, 2nd printing. Softcover. Basis for the Joseph Losey film version, starring Julie Christie and Alan Bates + film featured a screenplay by Harold Pinter. Book shows a bit of aging + a couple of small, light creases. Still presentable however.

NF / NF 2005 Doubleday, stated first edition. Hardcover with dust jacket. Great shape.

VG+ / VG. 1960 A.S. Barnes, revised edition. Hardcover with dust jacket. Dust jacket has relatively minor edge wear, but quite nice overall.

VG / VG-. 1975 Putnam Sports Shelf, first edition - NOT ex-lib. Hardcover with dust jacket. Sadly, the top edge experienced a little water damage at some point in its life which impacts the jacket (top edge is rippled) more so than the book itself. Otherwise it's in terrific shape.

VG 1946 Padell. Softcover w/ stiff wraps and fold-out flaps. Very cool item which we believe was part of a promo campaign for 'Sleepers Awake'. It is 30+ pages and features art by Patchen as well.

VG. 1952 Hodder Books, film tie-in edition, first printing. Softcover. Collection of several Paterson stories, one of which became the Philip Leacock film, starring Duncan Macrae and Jon Whiteley. Solid shape, with tiny corner creases/dings.

NF / VG 1954 Putnam, Fireside BCE edition. Hardcover. Comes with original insert about the play. Book and jacket in great shape - small chip missing at upper right corner of cover.

VG++ / VG. 1979 Seaview Books, stated first edition. Hardcover with dust jacket. Basis for the 1984 film version, directed by Stuart Rosenberg and starring Mickey Rourke, Eric Roberts and Daryl Hannah. Dust jacket has one crease + light wear at spine edges.

VG+ - NF. 1953 Bantam 1110, first printing. Softcover. Readers crease. Aside from that, it is a very sharp copy of a rare non-nautical themed Pease novel.

VG /VG. 1943 Doubleday, Doran - 1943 publish date (title was originally released in 1936), so we're assuming 1st edition / later printing? Regardless, it is a very nice early edition of one of the classic Tod Moran tales from the great Howard Pease. Book has one bumped corner. Jacket has minor edge wear.

VG / No DJ. 1939 Dodd, Mead, first edition. Hardcover. Rare first edition from one of the great 20th century authors for kids and teenagers (and adults too!). Spine is a bit faded and rear hinge is starting to crack slightly.

VG- / VG. 1941 Doubleday Doran, stated first edition. Signed by the great Howard Pease. Hardcover with dust jacket.
Book has a 1'2" burn mark near the top of the spine - it does not impact the interior pages at all. Boards show some age marks. Small light stain that impacts the top edge of just the first few pages - all prior to beginning of text. Dust jacket is in pretty good shape, with wear to the top edge of the spine + a small chip to the top rear cover edge.

VG+. 1968 Panther Books 1782, film tie-in edition, first printing. Basis for the film version starring Shirley MacLaine and Peter Ustinov. One corner crease on rear cover; light stain mark that impacts the top margin (not text) of the first few pages.

VG / VG 1938 Triangle, 4th printing. Hardcover. Usual page tanning issue. The cover was too cool to pass up.

VG+ - NF. 1962 Citadel Press, stated first paper bound edition. Softcover. Short play by the man himself, plus some B&W drawings.

VG+. 1965 Fawcett Crest D885, first printing. Softcover. Ties in to the Hammer film by Seth Halt, starring Bette Davis, along with child actor Pamela Franklin (The Innocents / Our Mother's House). Nice shape.

VG / VG 1970 Dial Press, book club edition. Hardcover with dust jacket. Basis for the highly underrated film starring Jack Nicholson in his prime. Small price sticker removal scuff to upper right corner of jacket. Previous owner name on FFEP.

Fine. 1973 Fawcett Gold Medal M2944, first printing. Softcover. Novelization of the film, starring Roy Scheider. Lovely copy - appears unread.
