London: Richard Bently & Son, 1896 Bound in three quarter red morocco over marbelled boards, 422, 451 pp. Bright set with crisp, clean contents, internally fine.. Front hinge starting volume 1, rear hinge barely so volume 2, shelf wear and wear at the tips. Contents fine. Spines with 5 raised bands, gilt panels.

Munich: F Bruckmann, 1945 This is a 239 pp with rear color foldout map and two internal fold outs. There are numerous black and white photos of the battalion as they made their way across Europe clearing mine fields and building air fields. Also included are a roster of the men and photos of the commanding officers. Slight rubbing to the covers and a trace of wear at the tips. A good to very good copy.

Americana: Public Library of Fort Wayne and Allen County, 1955 This is a reprint of an article that originally appeared in the Magazine of American History in March of 1886 and is 26 pages. The cover is starting to tan, otherwise very good.

Phiadelphia: T B Peterson, 1852 Bound in bright red cloth with gilt borders, decorations and titles, aeg, 324 pp plus 12 pp ads. c1852 [copyright date with no date on tp.] This apparently the "fine edition in cloth and gilt". From the preface this is presented as a fiction but one taking actual experiences, observations and quotes and weaving them into the story line. It is also a response to Mrs Harriet Beecher Stowe and Uncle Tom's Cabin. This copy is moderately foxed throughout, has a chip ths size of a water spot in the middle of the spine and a 2" split to the spine covering at the back gutter. Still an attractive good to very good copy in attractive covers.

Lakeside Press, 1976 This is a blue cloth bound volume from the Lakeside Classics series given to Donnelley employees and friends for Christmas. This volume is still in its original shrinkwrap but has a bump to the spine.

Anthony Treherne & Co., Ltd., 1906 Bound with grey paper over boards, color pastedown on cover, 10 internal color plates by Craine, n.d.,], 96 printed pages. Paper is worn through on the tips, offsetting from the plates rear hinge starting. A good to very good copy. This one of the Nature Books for Children Series with six titles listed on the half title page. A rare early Ransome title.

Genealogical Publishing Company, 1995 Bound in light blue cloth with gilt titles, 376 pp. Book gives a brief history of each county and goes into some detail about the prominent mebers.

Putnam, 1903 Bound in decorative covers of off white and light green and bright gilt decorations by Margaret Armstrong, 170 pp. This is a 1903 printing published in July of that year. Top edge is gilt with the others deckled. Spine is darkened and looks as if it was touched with the tip of a pen [Pictured]. Signatures and a small New Years card on front endpapers. Contents fine.

London: John Murray, 1840 This an ex-lib reading copy with front endpaper and 1/2 title loose and chipped, spine taped and corners reinforced, the leaf for pp 215/216 is misbound between pp194 and 195.

Stuttgart: Deutsche Verlags-Anstalt, 1951 Erste Auflage, stated first edition, 311 pp. Apparently unread copy bound in blue cloth with white decorations. Spine and top of front cover show some fading.

Collier, 1903 Better than usual copy of this lovely work. This copy has edgewear, minor spotting on the cover, but is clean, tight and complete. Internally very good.

Chicago: J Fairbanks & Co., 1880 Bound in reddish brown, almost purple beveled boards with black borders and decorations and gilt titles, fifteenth thousand. A sharp copy with traces of wear at the tips, foxing on the front pages through the title page and quite rarely elsewhere in the book.

State of Indiana, 1909 This is an 154 page book that includes the history of the association that erected the monument, the actions of Congress and the Indiana Legislature. Also, the ceremonies at the dedication of the monument, speeches given, etc. There is quite a bit of information on this battle, the last major Indian battle east of the Mississippi with the settlers/army led by William Henry Harrison and the Pottawatomies led by Tecumseh and the Prophet. Red cloth cover is rubbed and there is occasional pencil underlining. A good clean copy. This copy inscribed ans signed by the compiler. This copy the former copy of the First National Bank of Fremont.

Houghton Mifflin, 1944 Cute flap book by the author of Curious George with a happy lion in a cage getting ready to be fed by the zoo keeper. This is bound with a cloth spine over stapled paper. The front cover has a faint crease in one corner, otherwise a very good copy.

Charles Scribners Sons, 1954 Bound in gray cloth with red titles, 29 plates. There is some tanning on the page edges. jacket is darkened and chipped at the edges.
