Publisher's stapled, color-illustrated wrappers, octavo (9" tall x 5 3/4" wide), pp. 80. James Haislop on front cover. Many black and white illustrations. About GOOD condition with some shelf and handling wear on wrappers, which are just beginning to separate at the foot of the spine. Shelf and desktop rubbing, particularly on rear panel at spine. Several nicks along top edge of rear panel. The inexpensively manufactured paper used on the exterior wraps is no longer crisp but has wilted a bit over the decades. Clean and unmarked internally. Protected from further wear now in a clear new display sleeve with white card-stock backing board. This issue features a full page early-career black and white photo of Arnold with the caption: "Isn't that a wonderful back that Arnold Schwarzenegger displays in the photo by Greenwood? Arnold continues to improve and hopes to be the greatest bodybuilder of all time" (22). No article was written to accompany the photo. It stands alone with the caption only.

Publisher's light brown decorated cloth, octavo, pp. iv, 303. Tissue-guarded color frontis (tissue is torn) and other black and white illustrations. Frontispiece is working its way loose from the binding. Rubbing on spine, at board tips, and at spine ends. A bit of shelf soiling on upper board illustration and on lower spine. GOOD withal. Uncommon publisher's promotional sheet laid in.

Christmas season advertising promotional from F. J. Reardon Company of Charlestown Mass., circa mid-20th century, bound in red felt wrappers with a braided, tasseled, gold cord. Booklet measures 5.5 x 8.5 inches, pp. [36]. illustrated with a glassine-guarded color frontispiece and then black and white art-work throughout. A splotch on the Denmark page (see Photo 5), and the felt and cord have become a bit dull in appearance over the decades. A few nicks on wrapper edges. Withal, GOOD condition and ensconced now by us in a clear protective display sleeve with white cardstock backing board.

Edition limited to 200 copies printed as a keepsake on the occasion of the 20th Biennial Joint Meeting of the Zamorano and Roxburghe Clubs, October 27, 28, 1990, octavo, pp. 8 plus introductory material by K. Garth Huston, Jr. and colophon. String-tied brown wrappers with white label affixed to upper panel. English translation followed by the original French text. Very Good with some areas of light smudging on rear panel.

Tissue-guarded portrait of Russell used as a frontis, and a second tissue-guarded portrait inserted between pp. 62 and 63. Top edge gilt. Permanent ribbon page marker. Tasteful title page embossed ownership stamp of a renowned author and professor of European History at Indiana University. Vellum a bit dull with age. Boards with light shelf wear and scuffing. Tips rubbed.
