Presents the remarkable wooden artifacts recovered from Gordion, the eighth century capital of Phrygia. Most of these artifacts were recovered from the royal tombs, and are considered the "largest, best preserved, and most beautiful collection of ancient wooden furniture to survive from Anatolia, and indeed from the entire Middle East." The collection is currently housed at the Museum of Anatolian Civilizations in Ankara, Turkey.
