Front cover is hanging on by a thread. Spine cover is coming off at the front, showing some neat geography from Guatemala inside! (They recycled even back then!) Edges of the bookcover is worn. Some discoloration of the pages; otherwise the book is in great shape. Vivid pictures with tissue paper separating them from the text on the next page. No tears or folding; no writing or highlighting in book except for a small amount of writing in pencil on the first page.

This is a transcript concerning the Court Martial of Lord George Sackville, who was charged with disobedience of orders while he was in command of the British Forces in Germany - together with His Lordship's defense. February 29, 1760.Leather book cover has decorative paper on both the front and back and it shows signs of wear. Front cover is torn at the bottom spine about 2 inches. All pages intact, spine in great shape. Some guilding on spine has worn off. Pages discolored. A library name plate is on the front inside cover. No musty smell. A great addition to your collection!!!

Description:
Leather hard cover is worn on on back and edges.  A stain with a hole is present in the bottom front and the stain is also on the first few pages.  There is also a stain at the top of the first few pages.  (Water?)  The front and back covers have seperated themselves from the spine by 1mm, but nothing is falling apart.  The spine has raised portions with gold colored decorations.  There are other dark stains on the book cover.  Inside the inscrition reads, "E Libris G. Wingfield 1772." and another states, "ataftall in Lond. Aug, 1834."  And a third signature is present with "London" under it.  Several other markings in pencil are present on both the front and back inside.  No other marking or drawing in the book.  Pages are in great shape.  All intact, not torn or folded, no highlighting or writing, but they are somewhat discolored in areas.  No moldy smell.
