Description:
Midwood Books 60582, 1971. Very Good. Vintage adult paperback featuring playful cover of model/actress Uschi Digard, readying in very unbuttoned bell-sleeve shirt. Another image from same photo session used on Andrew Laird's "Abbey Opens Up" (Midwood 60605, 1973). Swedish figure model w/ enduring good looks, lush dimensions, Uschi is on paperbacks, in countless magazines, & memorable performances in Russ Meyer films, notably "Supervixen" (1975), starring as an insatiable Austrian housewife. Classic late Midwood, when they jumped on the hardcore bandwagon. Title list present. Maid in the Midwest theme. Very Good Plus, spine crease, lean, sticker to front. Faint remainder mark.

Description:
N.p., 1960s. Very Good. 107 original black-and-white photographic plates featuring fetish scenes, women wrapped in rope, leather, bound to furniture and to themselves, being flogged by men and women, some wearing robes or hoods, several participants wearing oral restraints, and several photos of breasts, presumably the work of England's "Jack the Binder." Glossy proofs like these were usually bound into a book, usually an erotic, adults-only novel with similar themes, and the custom was somewhat regular in the underground publishing market during progressive movements of the 1960s and 1970s. "Jack" was a fetish photographer who in the 1960s specialized in "breast play," lactation, clips, clamps, and flagellation, generally work that went unrivaled, while most of the New York camera clubs and the Klaw siblings producing similar photos at the time focused on rope work, leather and footwear. For the consenting, discriminating collector, recalling the erotic fantasy work of John Willie, Eric Stanton,… Read more

Photos 3.25 x 4.5, 35 present, 19 postcards & 5 folding packs, clippings of maps, small business ads, and novelties. First page depicts an undated generic newlywed scene, but dated April to May 1942 throughout, with name locations, subject, and occasional personal reflections in holograph ink. All leaves with tipped-in snap photography, maps and postcards, shopping receipts, clippings of advertising and tourism brochures, the 1942 honeymoon vacation of Jim and Ann. They begin in Massachusetts and follow through New York to Canada and the Niagara Falls, and capture their travels on pocket-sized snapshots, including a few images of the Falls and an "Indian Souvenirs" shop in the Adirondacks. Slightly more photographs of Anna are present, indicating Jim may have dabbled in amateur photography, several images evoke more composition than… Read more
