Light edge wear, very clean; well bound, firmly attached covers. Former owner's bookplate "Elliot" with interesting design, name in pencil on blank page, appears to be J. Henry Elliot. Another former ownership name/pencil on another blank page. The text is completely unmarked with very little foxing. Very good paper and presswork. Four sections or volumes, pagination: 167 + 175 + 148 + 173 pages, plus 2 pages advertisements. A very sturdy copy with attractive gilt ruling on black leather spine. Text in Italian.
